> The project’s 96-gate, 24-module tracker records accepted milestones, not the percentage of code or functions recovered.

Shaw Walters, creator of elizaOS, has a public research effort examining Hyperliquid’s node from binary evidence; its Nov. 1 tracker showed zero accepted gates and zero completed modules.

The review listed zero of 96 milestone gates accepted and zero of 24 modules complete. The gates measure accepted milestones; they do not show what percentage of Hyperliquid’s code or functions has been recovered.

The project repository combines binary evidence with static-analysis tools and research results. Hyperliquid distributes its node software as signed binaries, with instructions for downloading and verifying them. Its node repository does not list the protocol’s source code.

HyperCore supports on-chain perpetual and spot order books, while HyperBFT is Hyperliquid’s custom consensus algorithm. Walters has also pursued [reverse-engineering work on Pump.fun contracts](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/40426>).

The project says, “No buildable or equivalent node is claimed.”
