> Hypernative estimated more than $40 million in suspicious outflows across at least 10 blockchains and listed about 6.7 million XLM; Mercado Bitcoin has not confirmed the figures.

Mercado Bitcoin has shared a Stellar address for monitoring after a security incident at the Brazilian exchange, while the value and asset amounts connected to suspicious outflows remain unconfirmed by the company.

On Nov. 2, the company said it had contained an incident in one of its systems and temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals. It also said customers suffered no losses and no customer data was leaked.

Hypernative flagged suspicious outflows across at least 10 blockchains, estimating the total at more than $40 million and listing about 6.7 million Stellar (XLM). It marked the first suspicious transfers at 9:15 p.m. ET Nov. 1, with the largest wave between 1:19 and 1:53 a.m. ET Nov. 2. The outflow estimate spans multiple chains; XLM is one of the assets listed.

Mercado Bitcoin has not confirmed either estimate. Its statement did not identify the affected system or disclose the incident’s total value. The Stellar destination address the company posted for tracking is GDXYRI6IONQA5YTGRLQ6O3FGJ2BWXPJTTQPUXFPSEXSRKBZLFKMZSOLP.
