Backup generators and cooling equipment remain absent at IREN’s Horizon 4 site in Texas, putting year-end delivery for Microsoft at risk.

IREN is building Horizon 4 under an agreement valued at about $9.7 billion. A separate data center project for Nebius in New Jersey, with planned capacity of about 140 megawatts, may be delayed until 2027.
