Blockaid warned that a bug in Reth can produce incorrect state proofs, prompting patched-build guidance for reth, op-reth and Base, while Gauntlet curtailed deposits and allocations.

The response included guidance for three named targets: reth, op-reth and Base.

Gauntlet also curtailed two categories of activity: deposits and allocations.

Together, the actions paired software guidance with limits on activity at Gauntlet. The warning centers on the possibility of incorrect proofs.
