> The Inner Mongolia facility is estimated at 81,000 H100-equivalent units, compared with 1.112 million at xAI’s Memphis campus.

Huawei’s Horinger AI data center is estimated at 81,000 H100-equivalent units, about 7.3% of xAI’s 1.112 million-unit Colossus 2 campus, framing a scale comparison between Chinese and U.S. AI infrastructure.

An H100-equivalent unit converts different accelerator configurations into a shared measure based on Nvidia’s H100. The unit allows facilities using different chips to be compared by computing capacity. It represents estimated compute, rather than a count of physical H100 processors.

Horinger is estimated to have 170 megawatts of IT power and a capital cost of $6.4 billion. Colossus 2 is estimated at 946 MW of IT power and $35.8 billion in capital cost. The figures put the Memphis campus at a larger scale on both measures, alongside its higher estimated compute capacity.

The facilities also use different hardware. Horinger primarily runs on Huawei Ascend 910B and 910C accelerators. Colossus 2 uses Nvidia GB200 and GB300 Blackwell chips distributed across multiple buildings on the Memphis campus.

Horinger is part of Inner Mongolia’s [national computing-network hub](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/33403>). The plan calls for a computing supply system linking western regions with eastern regions. The facility’s capacity comparison with Colossus 2 puts the regional project in the context of a U.S. AI infrastructure buildout.

Both facilities are projected to add capacity. Horinger could reach about 141,000 H100-equivalent units in the near term, while Colossus 2 is projected to reach about 1.824 million. Using those estimates, Horinger would equal roughly 7.7% of Colossus 2’s capacity, compared with about 7.3% at the current estimates.

Colossus 2 also has a target of more than 1.2 million units by the end of 2026. The projections imply increases of about 60,000 H100-equivalent units for Horinger and 712,000 for Colossus 2 from their current estimated levels.
