> Claude can divide coding work among cloud threads, track dependencies and manage project settings in Claude Code sessions.

Anthropic has added a beta coordination feature to Claude’s Projects for Pro, Max and Ultra subscribers, allowing the assistant to divide coding work among cloud threads and review the results.

For complex coding projects, Claude can outline the work and distribute parts across several threads running in the cloud. It can track how those parts depend on one another, then examine the outputs after the threads finish.

In Claude Code cloud sessions, the feature can identify software dependencies, such as outside libraries and services, along with the API keys a project requires. Claude can also manage project environment settings. The feature identifies dependencies and keys, while managing the environment settings.

The tools are aimed at coding workflows that rely on external services and libraries. A missing requirement can interrupt work, so identifying dependencies and credentials is part of the project setup. The beta focuses on people using Claude Code cloud sessions.

Anthropic started releasing the beta in the latter half of September 2026. Existing Projects are migrating automatically. The feature is part of a broader overhaul of Projects that Anthropic began in September.

Anthropic has folded Claude Code access into all three subscription tiers. Pro costs $20 per month, or $17 monthly with annual billing. Max costs $100 and provides five times Pro’s usage. Ultra costs $200 and provides 10 times Pro’s weekly usage.
