Cryptocurrency platform Binance has just thrown down the gauntlet to art enthusiasts around the world. It's hosting a creative competition where the top prize is not just about money or crypto tokens; it's about getting your art showcased on the helmet of Formula One racer Pierre Gasly during the celebrated Abu Dhabi Grand Prix scheduled for November 26, 2023.

The racing star, known for his victory in the 2020 Italian Grand Prix, sees this alliance with Binance as a creative approach to bring the Formula One and cryptocurrency worlds closer together. The race for submissions ends on September 8, and Binance plans to announce the contest winner by September 15. Any person does not have to be a Binance customer to enter, making it a great chance for anyone interested in Formula One—even if they’re not crypto aficionados.

Binance explains that the judges will be looking for designs that mirror the company’s forward-thinking attitude, as well as resonate with fans of motorsports. Gasly is eager to wear the winning design, which he believes will represent the joint innovative spirit that he shares with Binance, at the highly esteemed Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Adding another layer to the prize, the winner will also receive a replica of the helmet, personally autographed by Gasly himself. This isn't Binance's first dive into the celebrity partnership pool. It's also teamed up with big names like soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and top football teams to amplify fan interactions.

Binance isn't just stopping at sports either; it's making headway in the entertainment sector as well. It recently disclosed its alliance with renowned artist The Weeknd to support a Web3-enabled concert tour, "After Hours Til Dawn." Binance is even offering special nonfungible tokens, or NFTs, to The Weeknd’s Australian fans, and has pledged to donate $2 million to the singer’s humanitarian fund. All these moves are seen as Binance’s strategy to sustain its importance among cryptocurrency investors, particularly at a time when it faces increased regulatory scrutiny.
