BAE Systems, the U.S. subsidiary of BAE Systems plc – an international defense, security and aerospace company, is looking for a cryptocurrency exploiter.
The company, which is counted among the world's largest defense contractors, has posted its job opening on LinkedIn. It is looking for “cryptocurrency exploiters” to “support a client’s operational requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area.”
According to the job description, the position prefers those who is a Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP), Certified Bitcoin Expert (CBX) or a candidate with a substantive understanding and depth of applied Cryptography including elliptic curve (ECDSA) signature algorithms, Schnorr signatures, and Zero Knowledge Proofs.
"Ideally, the person would have hands-on experience analyzing Smart Contract vulnerabilities. They should understand at the implementation (source code) level cryptocurrency transactions and how cryptocurrency networks operate," the description reads. "The person should understand privacy coins, wallet types, full and light nodes, virtual currency payment processors, secure payment protocols and other issues related to the currency."
Candidates with additional Blockchain-related certification are also encouraged to apply. They are expected to work well with a team or independently with minimal supervision.
BAE Systems offers a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support services. It is one of the largest contractors for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), CoinDesk reported.
