French Bitcoin treasury company Capital B has secured €15.2 million ($17.8 million) through a private placement aimed at increasing its Bitcoin reserves. The fundraising round attracted notable investors, including New Zealand entrepreneur Adam Back and Paris-based asset manager TOBAM, further strengthening confidence in the company’s long-term Bitcoin strategy.

According to the company, the newly raised capital, combined with existing operating cash flow, will allow Capital B to purchase approximately 182 BTC at current market prices. The announcement follows another recent financing deal worth $1.3 million involving Adam Back, highlighting continued investor interest in corporate Bitcoin treasury firms.

The private placement included shares bundled with four subscription warrants valued at approximately $0.78 per share. If all warrants are exercised, Capital B could potentially raise an additional $116.5 million through the issuance of nearly 92 million shares. Alexandre Laizet, the board director overseeing Bitcoin strategy, explained that the warrant structure supports the company’s aggressive Bitcoin accumulation plans as more public firms explore digital asset treasury strategies.

Capital B currently holds 2,943 BTC, valued at roughly $237 million based on current Bitcoin prices. Data from Bitcoin Treasuries ranks the company as the 25th largest corporate Bitcoin holder globally and the second-largest Bitcoin treasury company in Europe, trailing only Germany’s Bitcoin Group SE.

The move comes as several companies continue to expand or restructure their Bitcoin treasury operations. Michael Saylor’s Strategy remains the industry leader with nearly $67 billion worth of Bitcoin holdings and recently added another $43 million in BTC. Meanwhile, other firms such as Genius Group have reduced exposure, selling off remaining Bitcoin assets to manage debt obligations.

Capital B’s latest fundraising signals growing institutional confidence in Bitcoin as a long-term treasury asset despite ongoing market volatility.
