Ethereum ETFs continue to lag significantly behind their Bitcoin counterparts, with all nine spot ETH ETFs reporting zero net flows. In contrast, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a solid $108 million in net inflows, largely led by BlackRock's IBIT ETF, which alone attracted $80.96 million. This stark divergence underscores a growing institutional preference for Bitcoin over Ethereum, despite broader market signs of recovery.

The lack of movement in Ethereum ETFs highlights waning investor interest, as capital continues to flow into Bitcoin products managed by major firms like Fidelity, VanEck, and Grayscale. Despite being the second-largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum is currently failing to present a compelling investment narrative for institutions.

Ethereum’s technical indicators mirror this stagnation. The ETH/USDT chart shows the asset trading within a tight descending wedge around $1,580, with no strong breakout signals. ETH remains well below its 50, 100, and 200 EMAs—currently at $1,800, $2,267, and $2,568—indicating a persistent bearish trend.

Trading volume is also on a steady decline, suggesting diminished interest from both retail and institutional investors. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) continues to hover near oversold territory, without signaling a meaningful reversal. Minor bullish attempts have been consistently rejected, adding to the overall weak sentiment.

Unless a significant catalyst emerges—such as approval for staking-enabled ETH ETFs or favorable regulatory developments—Ethereum is at risk of falling further behind. For now, Bitcoin remains the primary focus for institutional capital, leaving Ethereum in a holding pattern with limited upside momentum.
