Ethereum Price Rises as Institutions Accumulate, ETFs See Inflows

Ethereum Price Rises as Institutions Accumulate, ETFs See Inflows.

Ethereum (ETH) is experiencing renewed interest from institutional investors as its price jumped 4.36% today, reaching $1,827. According to data from Lookonchain, a wallet linked to major liquidity provider Cumberland recently withdrew 27,632 ETH — worth approximately $50.24 million — from Binance, Coinbase, and Copper. These movements suggest a potential accumulation trend among large players as ETH gains bullish momentum.

However, not all institutions are buying. Galaxy Digital, led by Ethereum early investor Mike Novogratz, has reportedly been offloading ETH over the past several months. Within the last 10 hours, Galaxy transferred 23,000 ETH — valued at $42.52 million — to Coinbase, possibly to liquidate or reallocate assets.

Meanwhile, Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are showing signs of recovery after a period of consistent outflows. Last week alone, spot Ethereum ETFs recorded net inflows of 31,199 ETH ($55.5 million). BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum ETF led the charge, adding 22,704 ETH on Friday. On Monday, total net inflows surged to 59,538 ETH ($106.63 million), with BlackRock contributing 30,272 ETH to its holdings, now totaling 1.215 million ETH valued at $2.18 billion. Fidelity and Grayscale also reported inflows of 19,984 ETH and 10,359 ETH, respectively.

The combined institutional accumulation and rising ETF activity highlight a potential bullish reversal for Ethereum, reflecting growing confidence among both retail and institutional investors. With ETH’s price rising and key players entering the market, momentum may continue building if broader crypto sentiment improves.
