Bitcoin spot ETFs have reached a historic milestone, crossing $150 billion in market capitalization on July 12, 2025. This record surge follows a massive $1.1 billion inflow on July 10 alone, highlighting accelerating institutional interest in crypto-based financial products. According to the latest data, total assets under management (AUM) for spot Bitcoin ETFs now exceed $143.1 billion.

The recent wave of inflows—totaling $2.21 billion in just two trading sessions—signals renewed investor confidence in Bitcoin (BTC). Leading the charge are BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), Fidelity’s FBTC, and ARK Invest’s ARKB, which collectively account for over 70% of the fresh capital.

Bitcoin’s spot ETF boom comes amid a dramatic price rally. BTC has doubled over the past year, hitting $118,600 on July 11. The same session witnessed over $964 million in short positions liquidated, marking the most intense bear wipeout in recent months.

Ethereum (ETH) is also riding a bullish wave. Spot Ethereum ETFs now hold over $10.6 billion in assets, supported by a rebound in market sentiment and the resurgence of the “digital oil” narrative. ETH currently trades at $2,944, up 17% in the past week, with analysts eyeing a 40% upside toward its previous all-time high.

The growing appetite for both Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs underscores a broader shift toward regulated crypto investment products. As institutional capital flows in, spot ETFs are fast becoming a key gateway for traditional investors entering the digital asset market.

With market momentum accelerating, the crypto ETF landscape is on track to set new records, further validating digital assets as a maturing investment class.
