Ethereum (ETH) is drawing renewed attention from institutional investors, supported by increased whale accumulation and bullish projections from leading analysts.
According to crypto analyst Ali Martinez, Ethereum whales have quietly accumulated over 500,000 ETH in the past two weeks. Historically, such large-scale buying often signals confidence ahead of major price movements or technological developments on the network.
Fundstrat’s Tom Lee recently shared a bullish ETH outlook in a CoinDesk interview, referencing a valuation model by Sean Farrell, Fundstrat’s Head of Digital Asset Strategy. Using EBITDA-based comparisons with firms like Circle, the model estimates ETH’s fair value could reach as high as $15,000. Lee echoed this view, citing Ethereum’s critical role in powering decentralized applications and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization.
Technical strategist Mark Newton of Fundstrat also sees ETH potentially hitting $4,000 by the end of July, with long-term targets ranging from $10,000 to $15,000. Lee highlighted Ethereum's institutional alignment, noting JPMorgan's stablecoin and Robinhood’s tokenization initiatives both rely on the Ethereum blockchain. Currently, over 60% of tokenized RWAs are hosted on Ethereum — a figure expected to grow, especially as stablecoins approach the $2 trillion milestone projected by U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent.
As of July 19, ETH trades at $3,564.10, reflecting a modest 0.26% daily dip. CoinDesk data shows ETH experienced a 5% swing between $3,670 and $3,480 over the previous day. A sharp sell-off was followed by a V-shaped recovery, with notable volume spikes at $3,546 and $3,558. This rebound suggests institutional accumulation and potential price stabilization.
With growing institutional interest and technical momentum, Ethereum’s long-term bullish case is strengthening.
