Ashlie Meredith, the university program director for MouseBelt Blockchain Accelerator, told Cointelegraph on Feb. 11 that the new members of the alliance include financial services giant Mastercard, crypto exchange’s Binance’s innovation arm Binance X, Ripple’s Xpring and crypto exchange KuCoin.
Also joining the initiative are smart contract platform NEO, internet-of-things startup IoTeX, blockchain security company Quantstamp, and big data blockchain platform Constellation.
Blockchain Education Alliance announced on its website that its goal is to support education, research, and entrepreneurship to further blockchain innovation.
"We’re inviting administrators, researchers, policy makers, enterprise and industry professionals to work collectively to ensure students receive the skills, connections, and knowledge necessary to contribute to the blockchain ecosystem," it said.
