Editorial Standards

Last updated

These standards describe how TokenPost reports, labels and corrects its English-language coverage of cryptocurrency, blockchain and digital assets.

Accuracy and sourcing

We report what can be attributed to a source: company and regulator statements, filings, court records, on-chain data, exchange and market data, and named people. Where an article relies on such material, it links to the source when a public link is available. Figures such as prices, liquidations and fund flows describe the time stated in the article and are not live quotes.

Headlines and summaries should say no more than the article supports. Opinion and analysis appear under Insights & Views and represent the view of the credited author.

Bylines and dates

Every article names its credited author and links to that reporter's page, which lists their published stories. Articles show the original publication time and, when an article changes after publication, the time of the latest update. Times are displayed in New York time.

Corrections

We correct errors of fact when we learn of them. To request a correction, send the article URL and the point you would like reviewed to info@tokenpost.com. Corrected articles carry an updated time.

Automation and AI

Some routine market updates, such as price moves, liquidations and large on-chain transfers, are prepared with automated data tools from exchange and blockchain data. Some article illustrations are generated with AI; these are identified in the image caption. TokenPost is responsible for everything it publishes, however it was produced.

The on-site assistant and article summaries are generated by AI from TokenPost reporting. They can be incomplete or wrong and are not a substitute for the article itself. Reader polls reflect the views of participants and are not reporting.

Independence and advertising

Advertising is displayed separately from editorial content, and advertisers do not review or approve coverage. Content that is paid for or supplied by a third party is labelled as such. Nothing published by TokenPost is investment, legal or tax advice.
