CrossBar Inc. and CertiK at TOKEN2049 Singapore: Showcasing EMPC, Open-Source Hardware, and the Future of Blockchain Security

Singapore, October 1, 2025 — CrossBar Inc., a digital asset security and infrastructure company, co-exhibited with CertiK, the world’s largest Web3 security services provider, at TOKEN2049 Singapore. CrossBar introduced its suite of blockchain security innovations including EMPC (Enhanced Multi-Party Computation), PHSM (Physical Hardware Security Module), and the Daric secure processing unit.

CrossBar’s EMPC removes the need for seed phrases and passwords while minimizing recovery risks through t-of-n distributed signing across mobile, hardware, and cloud. This eliminates single points of failure and enables true self-custody with both privacy and flexibility. Beyond EMPC, CrossBar provides an SDK and Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS), allowing developers and enterprises to embed Wallet-as-Infrastructure directly into mainstream applications. At the hardware level, the PHSM and Daric SPU are purpose-built for blockchain security, combining powerful MCU capabilities with open-source silicon to support MPC.

CrossBar positions open-source technology as the new standard of trust. By leveraging open-source hardware and IRIS inspectability, the company addresses industry demands for certification rigor, compliance, and user trust. This commitment spans the entire vertical stack—from the Daric chip to EMPC algorithms and the PHSM series.

CertiK, as the largest Web3 security provider, brings advanced cryptographic expertise to this collaboration. Its research-driven approach goes beyond code audits, covering protocol design, correctness, and resilience against real-world attacks. With experience in threshold ECDSA/TSS wallets, DKG protocols, and ZK-augmented signing schemes, CertiK is well positioned to evaluate and strengthen CrossBar’s EMPC technology.

During TOKEN2049, CrossBar showcased the Daric Chip and live EMPC signing demos at the CertiK booth (PB4-27). The companies also discussed pressing crypto security challenges, the future of trust and compliance, and the role of open-source hardware in achieving full transparency. Attendees received an exclusive preview of CrossBar’s PHSM 8 functionalities, currently in development.
