Bitget has taken a significant step in AI-driven trading by introducing dedicated accounts for its AI agent, GetClaw, allowing it to execute trades autonomously within live markets. This development marks a structural shift from traditional AI-assisted trading toward fully automated market participation, positioning Bitget as a frontrunner in next-generation exchange infrastructure.

Previously launched as a zero-installation AI trading assistant, GetClaw initially supported users through market insights and recommendations. With the new account model, the agent now operates independently — monitoring positions, responding to market conditions, and executing trades in real time without requiring manual input from users. All it takes is a natural language strategy definition from the user, and GetClaw handles the rest.

To maintain transparency and security, Bitget structured the system using dedicated sub-accounts that clearly separate user-controlled assets from AI-driven activity. This design gives traders full visibility into how their strategies are being executed while ensuring operational boundaries remain intact. Users retain control over strategic parameters while the agent manages continuous market interaction on their behalf.

The upgrade integrates seamlessly with Bitget's Agent Hub, a centralized environment where AI agents access real-time data, analytical tools, and execution functions under one roof. This eliminates fragmented workflows and enables what Bitget calls "agent-native trading" — a model where intelligence and execution coexist within the same infrastructure.

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen emphasized that this move is part of a larger industry trend, noting that financial markets are increasingly moving toward AI agents trading on behalf of users, and that Bitget is building the infrastructure to support that shift at scale.

As part of its Universal Exchange model, Bitget now supports both human traders and AI agents within a unified framework spanning multiple asset classes — signaling a new era where automated systems and human users operate side by side in real time.
