Strive Asset Management, led by Vivek Ramaswamy, has expanded its Bitcoin treasury after acquiring 1,109 BTC worth nearly $85.4 million. According to the company’s latest filing, the average purchase price was approximately $76,988 per Bitcoin, pushing Strive’s total holdings to 16,500 BTC valued at around $1.27 billion.
The latest acquisition strengthens Strive’s position among the largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holders. The company previously reported holdings of 15,391 BTC, meaning the recent purchase significantly boosted its crypto reserves. With this move, Strive has surpassed several well-known crypto-related firms, including Coinbase and Riot Platforms, in terms of Bitcoin treasury size.
Strive also shared updated performance metrics tied to its Bitcoin strategy. The company reported a Bitcoin yield of 11% quarter-to-date and 23.4% year-to-date. In addition, its amplification ratio reached 45.2%, a metric closely followed by investors assessing the effectiveness of corporate Bitcoin treasury strategies.
Beyond Bitcoin growth, Strive revealed that its cash and cash equivalents increased to $93.3 million from $87.3 million in the previous reporting period. The company also disclosed holding more than $50 million worth of Strategy’s STRC securities on its balance sheet. Management noted it is reviewing adjustments to its at-the-market equity programs for Class A shares and SATA preferred stock to provide additional flexibility for future Bitcoin purchases.
Despite ASST stock climbing roughly 133% over the past three months, it still trails several major Bitcoin treasury companies. Shares gained nearly 3% during pre-market trading on May 26 before slipping 0.55% intraday.
Meanwhile, Strategy temporarily paused its Bitcoin buying activity after repurchasing $1.5 billion in convertible senior notes due in 2029. The company reportedly spent around $1.38 billion in cash on the buyback, reducing its debt exposure while continuing to reshape its balance sheet strategy around Bitcoin investments.
