Bitget has introduced a new institutional liquidity service designed to support professional and high-volume traders as the crypto exchange expands its contracts-for-difference (CFD) business.
The new offering targets quantitative trading desks, proprietary trading firms, investment funds, brokers and professional traders that require fast execution and reliable access to deep market liquidity. Its infrastructure combines straight-through processing (STP), multi-level liquidity, low-latency execution and FIX API connectivity.
According to Bitget, the service is built for automated strategies including quantitative trading models, high-frequency trading, futures and spot arbitrage, and Expert Advisor (EA)-based systems. Under its 100% STP model, client orders are processed automatically without manual intervention, allowing trading firms to connect their systems directly to available liquidity sources.
Bitget said its institutional liquidity network includes Tier-1 banks and non-bank market makers. Multiple pricing levels are available, providing greater liquidity depth for larger orders and helping institutions execute high-volume trades more efficiently.
The company is also strengthening its trading infrastructure by positioning servers closer to major global financial centers. Bitget operates servers in London’s LD4 and Tokyo’s TY3 data centers and says its dedicated network and fiber connections can support order matching in under one millisecond.
Institutional clients can connect their existing trading platforms, proprietary systems, bridges and liquidity aggregators through FIX API integration. The service is available alongside Bitget’s retail CFD products, which can be accessed through its app, website and MT5.
Bitget also stated that client assets are held in segregated custody accounts separate from the exchange’s operating funds, with compliance procedures and third-party auditing standards incorporated into its institutional framework.
The launch highlights Bitget’s push to expand its institutional crypto trading infrastructure and compete for professional traders seeking deeper liquidity, faster execution and scalable connectivity.
