BlockDAG at $0.002 as Kaspa and Sui Roll Out Major Network Upgrades.

Kaspa and Sui are drawing attention following recent network upgrades, while BlockDAG (BDAG) is approaching launch with a Stage 1 price of $0.002 and a growing suite of planned utility features.

Kaspa price is trading near $0.0255 as the network continues expanding its technical capabilities. The Toccata hard fork, implemented on June 30, introduced smart contract functionality and KRC-20 token support, opening the door to more applications within the Kaspa ecosystem. A separate block reward adjustment followed on August 5 as part of Kaspa’s emission schedule. With a market capitalization of roughly $700 million, Kaspa combines proof-of-work security with a DAG-based architecture and newly added smart contract capabilities.

Sui price, meanwhile, has recently moved between $0.65 and $0.70. On August 6, Sui added support for two NIST-approved post-quantum signature schemes. The upgrade enables users to migrate toward quantum-resistant account security while retaining their existing recovery phrases. SUI is trading around $0.69 with an estimated market cap of $2.8 billion. Investors are also watching a September 1 token unlock involving more than $9 million worth of SUI at current prices.

BlockDAG differs from both projects because its main network ecosystem has yet to fully launch. BDAG is currently available at a Stage 1 price of $0.002, while the project is preparing several products designed to create utility after rollout.

The BlockDAG Super App is under development and is expected to combine X1 mobile mining, a multi-asset wallet, and staking within one platform. Planned functionality also includes card spending, allowing BDAG holders to use their assets for real-world transactions. BlockDAGX is additionally being prepared as the ecosystem’s exchange.

BlockDAG also highlights its token distribution model, with zero team allocation from the stated 150 billion BDAG supply. Together, the Super App, mining, staking, payment functionality, and BlockDAGX form the project’s proposed utility ecosystem as it moves toward launch.

Kaspa and Sui already have active networks and recent technical upgrades, while BlockDAG represents a pre-launch alternative focused on delivering multiple crypto utilities within a connected ecosystem.
