Binance has announced plans to delist seven spot trading pairs, including pairs involving major cryptocurrencies Litecoin (LTC) and Sui (SUI), as part of its latest market review.

According to the crypto exchange, trading for the affected Binance spot trading pairs will end on August 21 at 03:00 UTC. The pairs scheduled for removal are F/USDC, HIVE/USDC, ILV/USDC, LTC/BNB, NMR/USDC, STEEM/USDC and SUI/BNB.

Binance regularly reviews its listed spot trading pairs and removes selected markets based on various considerations. The exchange said these periodic assessments are intended to protect users and maintain a high-quality trading environment.

Importantly, the Binance delisting does not mean that LTC, SUI or the other affected cryptocurrencies will be removed entirely from Binance Spot. Users can continue trading the base and quote assets through other available trading pairs on the platform.

The spot market changes come as Binance prepares to remove several margin trading pairs on the same day. Binance Margin will delist AUCTION/USDC, BEAMX/USDC, CETUS/USDC, HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, NXPC/USDC, UMA/USDC and VELODROME/USDC from cross margin on August 21 at 06:00 UTC. HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC and NXPC/USDC will also be removed from isolated margin.

Binance has several other network-related updates scheduled for August. On August 20, the exchange will conduct wallet maintenance for BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), with deposits and withdrawals temporarily suspended beginning at 05:55 UTC. The maintenance is expected to last approximately one hour.

Binance will also stop supporting Sophon (SOPH) deposits and withdrawals through BNB Smart Chain on August 21 at 08:00 UTC.

Meanwhile, deposits and withdrawals of Conflux (CFX) tokens will be suspended on August 24 at 23:00 UTC as Binance supports the Conflux Network upgrade and hard fork.

Users holding or trading the affected cryptocurrencies should review Binance's upcoming changes and adjust their trading or transfer activities accordingly.
