The financing lifts Go.AI’s total funding to $90 million as it expands its engineering team and marketing efforts.

Chicago-based AI startup Go.AI completed an $85 million Series A funding round, giving it capital to expand its engineering team and marketing efforts as it broadens its customer base.
Updata Partners led the round, while existing investors GFT Ventures and LAUNCH also participated. The financing brings Go.AI’s total funding to $90 million.
Go.AI provides locally deployed, auditable AI infrastructure for banks and other regulated institutions. Its systems are designed for organizations that require greater control and review of their AI operations.
The company plans to use the new capital to grow its engineering team and increase marketing activity. Go.AI also plans to expand beyond its core regulated industries.
That expansion will target a broader group of compliance-focused organizations.
