Coinbase Tokenized Stocks launched on Base for eligible non-U.S. users, bringing fractional exposure to major U.S. companies with trading available around the clock, including weekends and market holidays.

The tokens went live on Aug. 24, 2026, under Base’s B20 standard. Available assets include tokens tied to Apple, NVIDIA, Meta, Alphabet, Amazon, Microsoft, Strategy, SanDisk, SpaceX and Tesla.

Each token represents a 1:1 beneficial claim on an underlying share held with Alpaca, a regulated, bankruptcy-remote custodian. The tokens can be held in self-custody and used in lending, borrowing and liquidity pools.

Base is Coinbase’s Ethereum layer-2 network. Its B20 standard is designed to make tokenized assets compatible with wallets, decentralized exchanges and decentralized-finance protocols.

The market uses automated market-maker pools instead of relying only on traditional stock-market hours. Base lists NVDAc, AAPLc, METAc and GOOGLc among the available tokens.

Aerodrome serves as a primary liquidity venue for the tokenized stocks. Bankr’s product lets users create and manage concentrated-liquidity positions on Aerodrome, while an automated agent adjusts positions as prices move. Liquidity providers may receive trading fees or AERO incentives.

Estimated yields are annualized from recent trading-fee history and can change daily. They are not guaranteed. Providers using concentrated liquidity also face impermanent loss, price volatility, adverse selection and smart-contract risk.

The tokens are restricted to eligible users in jurisdictions outside the United States and may require identity verification or other eligibility checks. Those restrictions mean the products do not provide access to tokenized stocks for U.S. users under the current terms.
