Aster launched Grid 2.0 and Grid Marketplace, adding automated grid trading alongside manual trades on the same perpetual contract while keeping their orders and positions separate.

The update allows users to run as many as 50 independent grid strategies on one trading pair when using isolated-margin mode. Grid strategies place automated orders within user-defined settings, while manual positions continue to be managed separately on the platform.

Grid Marketplace gives users a way to view active grid strategies and filter them by market. Each listing includes profit and loss, return on investment, operating time and trading activity, allowing users to compare strategies before deciding whether to use their settings.

Users can copy a strategy’s parameters, reverse its long or short direction and modify the settings before launching a new strategy. The feature does not require users to use the original strategy’s configuration unchanged.

Starting a grid strategy moves its initial margin from the perpetual account into a separate grid account. That transfer reduces the balance available for other perpetual positions while the strategy is active.

After a strategy is fully closed, any remaining funds are automatically transferred back to the perpetual account.
