Variational Delays VAR Token Launch to Fourth Quarter 2026
Genesis allocations will account for 32% of total supply and unlock fully at the token generation event.

Variational has delayed the launch of its VAR token to the fourth quarter of 2026, with genesis allocations set to represent 32% of the token’s total supply.
The initial distribution will allocate 18% to an ecosystem reserve and 50% to the team and investors. Genesis tokens will be distributed through an airdrop based on users’ Variational point balances and will be fully unlocked at launch.
Team and investor allocations will remain locked for 12 months after the token generation event. Those tokens will then be released over a period of at least three years.
Variational plans to use all revenue directed to its treasury to buy back and burn VAR. The protocol will also continue distributing 150,000 points each week until the token generation event.
The delay is tied to a major strategic partnership, while Variational plans to bring Omni to a public mainnet before the token launch. It also plans to release more details on the buyback program and the token’s uses before the event.
