Coinbase has outlined integration progress following its acquisition of Deribit, launching more than 100 USD Coin (USDC)-settled contracts across five market areas and adding new trading infrastructure.

The rollout includes pre-IPO perpetual contracts and represents the largest expansion of perpetual contracts in Deribit’s history. It also marks the first time stocks and exchange-traded funds have been offered on the platform as perpetual contracts.

Coinbase introduced a matching engine designed to make large-scale trading faster and more stable while keeping the user experience unchanged. The company also connected its spot liquidity to Deribit’s spot trading operations.

Coinbase Chief Business Officer Shan Aggarwal described the integration as progressing “overall well” while noting that substantial work remains. Coinbase said it will announce further integration progress.
