Bullish Lists Bitcoin Options Expiring in January 2028
The European-style, USDC-settled contract expires at 3:05 a.m. ET (8:05 a.m. UTC) and extends options coverage to approximately 2.5 years.

Bullish lists a Bitcoin (BTC) options contract expiring Jan. 28, 2028, extending its options coverage to approximately 2.5 years and adding a long-dated product for derivatives traders.
The European-style contract is cash-settled in USDC and expires at 3:05 a.m. ET (8:05 a.m. UTC). Bullish’s options schedule also includes contracts expiring June 30, 2028, and Dec. 29, 2028.
Options trading volume totaled $11.6 billion in the quarter ended March 31, 2026. Bullish held 14% of Bitcoin options open interest in April 2026 and ranked No. 2 among BTC options exchanges.
Bullish launched its options business in October 2025. Its product lineup includes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and long-dated Bitcoin options, although the products are not currently available to U.S. persons.
The company has filed for U.S. derivatives exchange and clearinghouse licenses. It has also made options-chain prices, volume, open interest and volatility analytics available through external market-data platforms.
Bullish CEO Tom Farley said the company was pleased with its first-quarter results and excited about its next phase of growth.
