Bitget disabled withdrawals across all 4,930 asset-network entries listed by its public API after $165 million moved to a single address, blocking asset outflows while spot trading remained online.

Deposits stayed enabled and spot trading continued online during the halt. The restriction covered every asset-network combination returned by the exchange’s public API, rather than a single token or blockchain.

The transfer involved four chains and preceded the broad withdrawal suspension.

For users, the distinction between deposits, trading and withdrawals means Bitget remained operational in some areas while preventing assets from leaving the platform.
