BitMEX Opens Withdrawals to US Users After KYC During Wind-Down
Eligible users in Canada, Bermuda, Hong Kong, Seychelles and Myanmar can also retrieve available balances after completing identity verification.

BitMEX has reopened withdrawals for eligible users in the United States and five other previously restricted jurisdictions, allowing them to retrieve available balances after completing identity verification.
The temporary access applies to users residing in the US, Canada, Bermuda, Hong Kong, Seychelles and Myanmar. Users must complete KYC if required and submit withdrawal requests.
BitMEX does not permit new trading or deposits under the arrangement.
The policy includes exceptions based on nationality and residency. Russian nationals legally residing in the European Union or Switzerland may withdraw with proof of residency, while Iranian nationals living outside Iran who are not subject to U.S., U.N. or European Union sanctions may apply on a case-by-case basis.
Restrictions remain in place for users located in Cuba, Iran, North Korea and occupied regions of Ukraine. BitMEX ceased exchange trading services Sept. 23 as part of its wind-down process.
