KuCoin Opens Tokenized Stock Trading While Excluding U.S. Users
The Solana-based products track Apple, Robinhood, Strategy and SpaceX equities, with trading beginning Sept. 23 at 10:30 and 11 a.m. ET.

KuCoin opened spot trading for four tokenized equity products on Sept. 23, but users in the United States and several other major markets are barred from trading them.
The exchange listed AAPLX, HOODX, MSTRX and SPCXX, linked to Apple, Robinhood, Strategy and SpaceX. AAPLX/USDT and SPCXX/USDT opened at 10:30 a.m. ET (14:30 UTC), while HOODX/USDT and MSTRX/USDT began trading at 11 a.m. ET (15:00 UTC).
Deposits were available through the SOL-SPL network. The products are issued on Solana and other blockchains and are designed to represent the economic value of specific equities while remaining fully collateralized 1:1 by the corresponding underlying assets held with regulated custodians.
The tokens provide economic exposure rather than shareholder voting rights. KuCoin’s restricted-jurisdiction list also covers the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, mainland China and numerous European countries and territories.
The launch expands tokenized equity access on a crypto spot exchange, but availability remains limited by jurisdiction and KuCoin’s compliance policies.
