CoinMarketCap Completes Acquisition of CoinGlass Derivatives Platform
The deal adds open interest, funding-rate and liquidation data to CoinMarketCap, which serves 115 million monthly users.
CoinMarketCap has completed its acquisition of CoinGlass, adding cryptocurrency derivatives data to a platform used by 115 million people each month.
The financial terms were not disclosed. The integration will bring information on open interest, funding rates, liquidation activity and options to CoinMarketCap users, expanding its coverage of leverage-driven markets.
CoinGlass tracks data across 28 exchanges and more than 2,500 trading products. The platform has more than 5 million monthly active users and more than 10,000 API customers.
CoinGlass will continue to operate as an independent business after the acquisition. Its website, app, free tools, API services and pricing will remain unchanged.
