Circle Internet Group disclosed two leadership changes that will reduce its board and begin a search for a new chief financial officer.

Co-founder P. Sean Neville resigned from the board effective immediately for personal reasons, reducing the board from eight members to seven. Neville’s departure does not reflect a disagreement with Circle’s operations, policies or practices, the company said.

Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox-Geen notified Circle that he plans to leave the company. He is expected to remain in the role through Dec. 31, unless a successor is appointed earlier.

Circle has engaged an executive search firm to find Fox-Geen’s replacement. The company also said his planned departure is not related to a disagreement with its operations, policies or practices.

The changes were disclosed in a Form 8-K filed Sept. 25. Fox-Geen’s departure remains planned rather than completed, while Neville has already left the board.
