Bitwise, Vise Launch Crypto Model Portfolios for Advisers
The portfolios place crypto exchange-traded products alongside stocks, bonds and alternatives across Vise’s network of more than 135,000 accounts.

Bitwise Asset Management and Vise launched diversified crypto model portfolios for financial advisers on Sept. 24, 2026, placing crypto exchange-traded products alongside traditional investments within a single portfolio-management system.
The offering is available across Vise’s platform, which covers more than 135,000 accounts at hundreds of wealth firms and represents more than $140 billion in platform assets. Bitwise had more than $9 billion in client assets at the time of the announcement.
Vise’s system is designed to allocate, monitor and rebalance the crypto models alongside a client’s broader portfolio while applying its tax-management processes. The offering includes “Core” and thematic strategies intended for different risk preferences.
“Crypto only works in a portfolio if it's treated like a real allocation—sized to the client's risk, monitored, and brought back to target when it drifts,” said Runik Mehrotra, co-founder and co-head of Vise.
“Advisors shouldn't have to run crypto as a separate book,” Mehrotra said. “Bitwise brings the research to decide what belongs in the allocation, and Vise handles everything after that.”
The rollout gives advisers a way to incorporate crypto exposure into household-level portfolio construction and rebalancing rather than managing it as a separate account or allocation.
Bitwise launched seven digital-asset model portfolios for advisers on Feb. 3, 2026. The company described those portfolios as educational resources, while advisers remained responsible for investment recommendations and client suitability decisions.
“Any great new technology, whether autonomous cars or blockchains or AI, should ultimately be about broadening access and opportunity,” said Juan Leon, Bitwise senior investment strategist.
