Riot Platforms repaid its $200 million Bitcoin-backed credit facility from Coinbase Credit on Sept. 21, ending the facility before its scheduled April 2027 maturity and releasing pledged collateral.

The facility carried a revised fixed annual interest rate of 6.15%, equivalent to about $12.3 million in annual interest. Riot paid the principal and accrued interest without an early-termination penalty.

Coinbase’s security interest in the pledged collateral was released after the repayment.

As of June 30, 2026, Riot had pledged 5,821 Bitcoin (BTC) under the facility. The collateral was valued at about $340.7 million at that time, representing roughly 51% of Riot’s 11,380 BTC holdings.
