Nvidia increased its stock-buyback authorization by $150 billion, bringing the company’s total authorization to $235 billion in a major capital-allocation move for the semiconductor market.

The announcement was issued at 7:03 a.m. ET (11:03 UTC) Monday, Sept. 28. The additional authorization represents the latest expansion of Nvidia’s program and raises the amount available for potential stock repurchases.

The new authorization brings Nvidia’s stated stock-buyback capacity to $235 billion.
