Nvidia has expanded its share-buyback authorization by $150 billion, giving the AI chipmaker $235 billion in remaining capacity for repurchases through the end of fiscal 2028.

The additional authorization was approved by Nvidia’s board on Sept. 28. The company said its cash generation allows it to continue investing in artificial intelligence and accelerated computing while returning capital to shareholders.

The authorization represents planned capacity rather than completed purchases. Nvidia said it expects to execute the remaining buyback program by the end of fiscal 2028.
