NVIDIA Adds $150 Billion to Buyback Plan, Raising Total to $235 Billion
The company expects to complete the remaining repurchases by the end of fiscal 2028 as it continues investing in artificial intelligence and accelerated computing.

NVIDIA has approved an additional $150 billion for its share-repurchase program, lifting the total remaining authorization to $235 billion and signaling continued capital returns alongside its artificial-intelligence expansion.
The board approval announced Sept. 28 adds to the company’s existing buyback plan. NVIDIA expects to complete the remaining authorized repurchases by the end of fiscal 2028.
CEO Jensen Huang said NVIDIA’s growth reflects a shift toward artificial intelligence and accelerated computing platforms. He said the company’s ability to generate cash allows it to invest in those technologies while returning capital to shareholders.
The expanded authorization gives NVIDIA flexibility to repurchase shares over the coming fiscal years while it continues developing technologies tied to the broader AI transition. The company’s remaining buyback plan is scheduled to run through fiscal 2028.
