Strategy Adds 1,665 Bitcoin for $143 Million, Nearing 848,000 BTC
The company held 847,666 BTC as of Sept. 27 after allocating $142.7 million to the purchase.
Strategy added 1,665 Bitcoin (BTC) for approximately $142.7 million during the Sept. 21-27 period, bringing the company’s holdings to 847,666 BTC as of Sept. 27.
The purchase was funded with proceeds from the sale of 1,469,165 MSTR shares, which generated $246.2 million. Strategy allocated $142.7 million to Bitcoin and used $103.5 million to repurchase STRC stock through its digital credit securities repurchase program.
The company’s Bitcoin holdings had an aggregate purchase price of $63.95 billion, with an average cost of $75,437 per BTC. Strategy also held $5.02 billion in its USD Reserve and $1 billion in USD Cash as of the same date.
Strategy reported no sales of STRF, STRC, STRK or STRD through its at-the-market programs during the week. Its remaining issuance capacity included $18.84 billion of MSTR stock, $17.51 billion of STRC, $4.01 billion of STRD, $2.1 billion of STRK and $1.62 billion of STRF.
