Soluna, Bitdeer Raise Texas Bitcoin Mining Deployment to 35 MW
The revised agreement expands Bitdeer’s deployment at Soluna’s wind-powered Project Kati 1 from about 28 MW.
Soluna Holdings and Bitdeer have revised their agreement to expand Bitdeer’s Bitcoin (BTC) mining deployment at the wind-powered Project Kati 1 in Texas to approximately 35 megawatts from about 28 MW.
The expansion increases Bitdeer’s Bitcoin mining deployment at the facility to roughly 35 MW. Project Kati 1 is a wind-powered data center in Texas that hosts Bitdeer’s Bitcoin mining deployment.
Under the agreement, Soluna provides the site, power and operational services. Bitdeer supplies and owns the mining equipment, while the companies share the proceeds generated by the mining deployment.
The revised arrangement increases the scale of a partnership focused on using renewable power for industrial Bitcoin mining in the United States.
