Circle and Volante Technologies are bringing USD Coin (USDC) workflows to a payment platform used by banks, allowing financial institutions to evaluate stablecoin operations within existing systems.
Volante, a payment-as-a-service provider, will support evaluations of USDC minting and redemption, recipient wallet registration, funding, notifications and wallet-to-wallet payments.
The testing also covers operational controls and on- and off-ramp requirements, giving banks a way to assess how USDC processes fit into their payment channels and existing infrastructure.
