OKX US to Sell Certain Trading-Bot Positions After Sept. 30 Deadline
Grid and Smart Portfolio positions on affected USD pairs will be sold unless users move the bots to corresponding USDC pairs before the migration.

OKX US will sell positions held by Grid and Smart Portfolio bots on selected USD pairs if users do not move the bots to corresponding USD Coin (USDC) pairs before Sept. 30.
The exchange will retire the affected USD spot order books between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. ET (7:00–8:00 a.m. UTC) that day as it combines USD and USDC liquidity. Remaining open orders and existing USD trading bots will be canceled during the transition.
Users can cancel USD orders, stop affected bots and recreate them on USDC pairs during the migration window, which began Sept. 23. Bots created on the replacement pairs will continue operating after the change.
The automatic sales apply only to positions managed by Grid and Smart Portfolio bots. Positions tied to DCA, Recurring Buy and TWAP/Iceberg bots will be held after those bots close. The automatic process may result in trading fees, slippage and a realized gain or loss.
Account balances, deposits and withdrawals will not be affected. Customers can continue using USD to fund orders, while USDT-USD remains outside the change. The deadline is Sept. 30.
