BitMart Develops Restructuring Plan for Phased Operations
The exchange is weighing restructuring as an alternative to a full shutdown and aimed to provide further updates by Sept. 9, 2026.

BitMart is developing a potential restructuring plan that could enable a phased resumption of parts of its operations, offering an alternative to a full shutdown for the crypto exchange.
The plan may include distributions to creditors under an orderly arrangement. It still requires legal, financial, operational and regulatory evaluations.
BitMart appointed White & Case as restructuring counsel to assess potential options and help develop a framework for restructuring and phased operations. The exchange is also working with advisers on a broader roadmap.
BitMart announced the plan Aug. 21, 2026, and aimed to provide further updates by Sept. 9, 2026.
