Strategy Buys 1,665 Bitcoin, Extending Weekly Accumulation Streak

Strategy bought 1,665 Bitcoin (BTC) for $142.7 million between Sept. 21 and Sept. 27, extending its buying activity to a second consecutive week and lifting its holdings to 847,666 BTC.
The company paid an average of $85,681 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses. Its total holdings carry an aggregate purchase price of $63.95 billion, equal to an average cost of $75,437 per coin.
Strategy funded the acquisition with net proceeds from selling 1,469,165 shares of its MSTR common stock. The share sales generated $246.2 million, with $103.5 million allocated to repurchasing STRC preferred shares.
The latest purchase followed Strategy’s acquisition of 950 BTC for approximately $75.7 million during the previous week. As of Sept. 27, the company also reported $5.02 billion in its USD Reserve and $1 billion in USD Cash.
