Anthropic has confidentially filed for a potential U.S. initial public offering, beginning a process that could eventually give investors more information about the artificial-intelligence company’s finances.

Anthropic, PBC submitted a draft registration statement on Form S-1 to the Securities and Exchange Commission on June 1, 2026. The company has not disclosed how many shares it plans to offer or set an offering price.

The IPO remains dependent on market conditions and other factors. The confidential filing is not a publicly available prospectus and does not provide audited 2025 revenue figures.

Anthropic said its run-rate revenue was approximately $1 billion at the beginning of 2025 and exceeded $5 billion by August. Run-rate revenue measures the annual pace implied by current business activity and is not the same as reported full-year revenue.
