Injective’s Stockdrop gives addresses participating in its monthly Community BuyBack a chance to receive one Stock Token on Robinhood Chain, while committed INJ is permanently burned after the event.

The program began Sept. 23 after Injective announced it Sept. 22. Participants commit Injective (INJ) through Injective Hub and receive a pro rata share of Injective ecosystem revenue as part of the buyback process.

Each participating address can receive no more than one Stock Token, regardless of the amount of INJ committed. Injective said, “Stockdrop gives every address that participates in the Community BuyBack the chance to receive a Stock Token.”

Claims open after the Community BuyBack concludes and remain available for one week. Stock Tokens are delivered to a matching Ethereum Virtual Machine address on Robinhood Chain. Claim requests require a message signature rather than a token transfer or asset approval, and fulfillment occurs in batches.

Injective named NVIDIA and AMC as examples of companies represented by the available Stock Tokens but did not publish a complete list. The tokens are unavailable in the United States and subject to jurisdictional restrictions.

Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 built on Arbitrum for tokenized real-world assets. The Stockdrop announcement did not disclose the number of eligible addresses or provide a valuation for the Stock Tokens.

Across four monthly Community BuyBack rounds, 178,338.03 INJ was burned, while average participant earnings were approximately 23.9% per round.

“Each address can receive only one Stock Token, regardless of the amount of INJ committed,” Injective said.
