Ether Wallet Balance Rises Above Level Recorded Before Bitget Withdrawals Opened
The address fell from about 30,000 ETH to roughly 25,000 ETH within 30 minutes after withdrawals opened, then received ETH inflows that lifted its balance slightly above its starting point.
An address suspected to be a Bitget hot wallet prepared for Ether (ETH) withdrawals saw sustained outflows after withdrawals opened, then rose slightly above its initial balance.
The address, identified as 0xED9…18771, held about 30,000 ETH before withdrawals opened Sept. 29. Its balance fell steadily to roughly 25,000 ETH within half an hour, followed by ETH inflows that lifted it slightly above the starting level.
The address is only suspected to be a Bitget hot wallet. Its balance offers a limited view of withdrawal-related activity and does not establish the exchange’s total ETH reserves.
