Anthropic Reports $4.59B Revenue as AMD Agrees to Buy World Labs

Anthropic disclosed $4.59 billion in 2025 revenue in an IPO filing released Sept. 29, while AMD agreed to acquire World Labs for $8.2 billion in two major artificial intelligence developments ahead of U.S. market trading.

Anthropic’s 2025 revenue was about 12 times the previous year’s figure. The filing also points to exceptionally large future computing requirements as the company advances its AI business.

AMD’s planned World Labs acquisition will bring spatial-intelligence technology and senior talent into the chipmaker. Fei-Fei Li will serve as AMD’s chief scientist after the transaction.

The developments add to a busy AI market backdrop that also includes debate over an AI bubble, continued institutional interest in crypto exchange-traded funds and exploration of tokenized options products.
