Nscale's $103 Billion Commitments Depend on Unbuilt Data Centers

The planned IPO candidate has grown rapidly but nearly all of its contract commitments rely on facilities still under construction, with some projects lacking full funding.

Nscale has signed contract commitments totaling about $103 billion, but nearly all of that business depends on data centers that have not yet been completed.

The planned IPO candidate is a relatively small, recently established AI chip-rental company that has grown rapidly over the past year. Its contract commitments are comparable with those of established rival CoreWeave.

Some of Nscale’s data center projects have not raised all the construction funding required for development.

The company is pursuing an initial public offering.
