Robinhood Plans Crypto Perpetuals and Weekend Stock Trading
The platform will offer eligible U.S. users Bitcoin and Ether perpetual contracts with up to 10x leverage, alongside AI-powered trading tools.

Robinhood plans to add crypto perpetual contracts, weekend trading for selected U.S. stocks and ETFs, and AI-powered trading agents as it expands services for active traders.
Eligible U.S. users will be able to access Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) perpetual contracts through Robinhood Derivatives and Bitstamp. The contracts will offer up to 10x leverage for BTC and ETH, while other supported assets will initially have a 3x limit.
Weekend trading will run through Bruce ATS and cover a limited group of U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds. Robinhood also plans to extend options trading hours, increase intraday margin limits and introduce contracts tied to corporate earnings events.
Robinhood Agents will let users choose OpenAI or Anthropic models and authorize access to separate trading accounts. The agents will be able to analyze markets, create watchlists and trade stocks, options and crypto. A feature called Loops will allow users to set instructions that execute when specified conditions are met.
Each trade will require user approval by default, although users can disable that setting. Margin borrowing will not be supported when the product first launches.
