Soneium and South Korean entertainment company DayOneDream plan to develop tokenized K-pop intellectual property and related revenue through WAVIST, with any future offerings subject to eligibility rules and regulations.

The companies announced the partnership Sept. 28 but have not identified an initial artist, concert, catalog, offering size or launch date. The project builds on Soneium and DayOneDream’s earlier tokenization plans, while adding a framework for connecting entertainment assets with structured financial products.

Soneium is an Ethereum layer 2 developed by Sony Block Solutions Labs using the OP Stack. DayOneDream’s entertainment interests include BTOB, Lee Chae Yeon, MEMI and 2F, as well as global concerts and intellectual-property management.

WAVIST completed the lifecycle of a tokenized intellectual-property bond in May 2026, covering issuance, final redemption and token burning. Its platform lists products tied to concert, artist and content intellectual property, including the $CNCRT Concert Fund, $ARTIST Artist Fund and $CNTNT Content Fund.

The concert fund records ticketing and intellectual-property revenue settlements onchain, with distributions, if any, recorded according to offering terms. Eligible investors must complete know-your-customer checks and subscribe through formal offering documents.

Existing WAVIST investment products are offered outside the United States under Regulation S and are unavailable to U.S. persons. No specific Soneium-based investment product has been announced. Fan editions are separate products that carry no financial return.

The platform’s reported operating history includes 120 projects, 42 music-publishing credits and 24 live concerts and fan events. Those figures describe WAVIST’s claimed activity and do not identify assets for a future Soneium offering.

“K-pop is a market unlike any other, yet the way capital reaches it has barely changed,” Dylan Cho, DayOneDream’s RWA lead, said.

“This partnership demonstrates how the business of live entertainment can be integrated into transparent, institutionally managed financial products,” Youngjae Jeon, DayOneDream’s vice president, said.

The next concrete step is the development of future products; the companies have not announced when the first Soneium-linked offering will launch.
